Baoding Military Academy

Baoding Military Academy (保定軍校) is a military academy in the early years of the Republic of China. Located in Zhili (current Hebei province), it generated many important military leaders before the founding of the Whampoa Military Academy. During the Second Sino-Japanese War, half of China's 300 divisions where commanded by Whampoa graduates while a third were from Baoding.
